Learning How to Make Paper

Field Trips:  These are one-day summer workshops conducted in conjunction with some Wayne County Public School System’s Summer Programs and other Wayne County businesses/organizations and home schooled children.  The Workshops use the same Alasa sites and many of the same activities as the week-long Summer Workshops.  The field trips are customized for the weather, organization/school needs and age.  Each activity has a connection to a standard from the New York State standards and may be different for each child.  The field trips are for children ages 6-17 (1st - 12th grades) and are conducted by certified professional instructors.  Support is also provided by the organizations/schools sponsoring the field trips.  The trips can be scheduled for 1/2 day or full day sessions depending on requirements.
