Journaling the day’s activities
Things you should bring with you to the Summer Workshops include:
Clothing
- Long pants to wear in barn and woods
- Warm layers for cold and/or rainy weather
- Shoes: MUST be close-toed for working around animals and hiking in the woods and be able to get wet. All sandals MUST have straps to keep them from slipping off. NO FLIP-FLOPS ALLOWED. Shoes or strap sandals MUST be worn at all times when in the stream or bay.
- Extra shoes or boots (barn boots or shoes that can be washed off)
- Extra change of clothes in case you get wet
- Hat to keep off sun and bugs
- Garden or work gloves (optional)
Other Items:
- Bug spray (We will provide this, if you can’t find it.)
- Sunscreen
- LUNCH AND DRINK for Monday and Tuesday. (Lunch is provided on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and snacks are provided every day.)
- Backpack or bag to carry things when hiking
- Medicines with directions for dosages and times clearly marked
- Wash cloth or small hand towel
- Shoe box (to keep your new “stuff” in)
****We provide hand disinfectant, plastic gloves and buckets of soap and water***
REMEMBER - Do Not Bring:
- Electronic devices
- Expensive, important things
- Knives, etc. (We provide all necessary tools.)
- Flip-Flops
