The Fall Family Camping Weekend is a three-day fundraising event event that provides opportunities for adults and children alike to spend relaxing quality time with family and friends enjoying nature and the surrounding environment while providing ALASA Academy with much needed financial support. In 2011 the event will be held September 16 - 18 at Beechwood State Park on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario in Sodus, Wayne County, NY. Rustic camping facilities are available for both tents and campers. Enjoy group interaction at the Saturday night chuck wagon dinner, bonfire and karaoke. Come join us at Beechwood and take time to explore the wooded areas, local fossil stream and the shore of Lake Ontario. Take your family fishing, kayaking or hiking the many trails at Beechwood. Who knows, you may even see one of our local Bald Eagles flying about! And the haunted woods walk is a perfect way to welcome the Fall season.
