How do I get there?

Getting to ALASA Academy’s Beechwood location is easy:

Beechwood State Park is located at 7423 Lake Road, Sodus, NY on the Seaway Trail, about 2 miles west of Sodus Point, NY. It borders on Maxwell Creek and Lake Ontario, and is just east of the Maxwell Creek Inn. It is about 45 minutes east of Rochester and about 60 minutes west of Syracuse.

From Rochester take Route 104 east to Maple Avenue (in Sodus, NY). Turn left (north) on Maple Avenue and go to Lake Road. Turn right on Lake Road and proceed to the entrance of Beechwood State Park. It will be on your left, across from Maxwell Road.

From Syracuse and other points east and south, take the NY State Throughway to Exit 42, and turn left on Route 14 North (toward Lyons). Go through Lyons and Alton all the way to Lake Road in the Village of Sodus Point. There is a 4 way stop sign at the Lake Road intersection. Take a left on Lake Road and proceed about two miles to 7423 Lake Road (entrance to Beechwood State Park). It will be on your right past Maxwell Creek, across from Maxwell Road.
